Charity Christmas Cards 2010 NZ

Each year, Phoenix Trading raises money for charity through the sale of its exclusive Christmas cards. This year, Phoenix is offering a range of 50 Christmas cards (most sold in packs of 8 or 10) each with a guaranteed donation of 2.5¢ per card.

In 2010, Phoenix Trading raised NZ$2,138.30 through the sale of its Christmas cards. These funds were donated to Hospice New Zealand, the organisation that supports member hospices in their work caring for people who are dying. Hospice is the national organisation whose primary goal is to give voice to the interests, view and concerns of its 35 member hospices.

Many people believe that Hospice is a building, when in fact it is a philosophy of care, which extends beyond physical needs, encompassing emotional, spiritual and social needs as well.

There are 35 hospice services throughout the country providing essential care and support for people with a life limiting illness, their families and friends, completely free of charge.

Our purpose is to ensure all New Zealanders have access to the best possible hospice care at the end of their lives.

This year, we are delighted to announce that through the efforts of our New Zealand based Traders and the support of our growing customer base, we will continue to support Hospice through our Christmas card fundraising.
