Cancer Research UK* is the world’s leading charity dedicated to beating cancer through research. Every day in the UK there are more than 400 people diagnosed with cancer that will survive the disease for more than 10 years thanks to research.

Entirely funded by the public, donations help Cancer Research UK save more lives by finding new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat more than 200 types of cancer. From the most common – such as breast, bowel, lung and prostate cancers – to rare types of tumour and children’s cancers, Cancer Research UK supports ground-breaking science that benefits everyone.

We are extremely proud to have raised £490,000 for Cancer Research UK. We have also raised another £82,000 for cancer research charities which pre-dated Cancer Research UK, making a total raised for cancer research of £572,000.
